When cultivation is proven to be another form of science, the world no longer needs immortals. It needs physicists.
Li Jie, one of Huaxia's top theoretical physicists, is recruited into a national research project on "anomalous phenomena."
His mission: use scientific methods to analyze every phenomenon known as "cultivation."
And so scenes like these unfold in a modern laboratory:
A cultivator forms hand seals and summons a fireball while Li Jie records its plasma temperature and magnetic field strength;
An alchemist fires up a furnace to refine pills while Li Jie uses a mass spectrometer to analyze the quantum superposition of their medicinal molecules;
A formation master lays down a maze while Li Jie's team uses a supercomputer to simulate its spatial topological distortions.
He proposes the "Provisional Unified Framework for Explaining Cultivation Phenomena V0.1," using equations to explain spiritual roots and field theory to define cultivation realms.
The traditional cultivation world is shaken, calling him an "anomaly in the Dao."
He simply says, "Every mystery will eventually converge on a single formula. My job is to find it."
Yet as the formula nears completion, a terrifying conclusion emerges:
Earth's spiritual ley lines form a carefully constructed "silence barrier." The fall of the ancient cultivation civilization was no myth.
And Li Jie and his formula are making that barrier fail.
Hidden observers, twisted ancient creations, indifferent scans from deep space... They come one after another.
Now Li Jie faces the ultimate choice:
Should he seal away all his research and let humanity keep scraping by in ignorance?
Or should he grip the "blade of truth" he forged with his own hands and, for a civilization that knows nothing of the darkness,
strike the first, and perhaps final, ray of light?
This is a story about knowledge, courage, and survival.
