Glory for the Empress

Not a one-man-one-woman romance, and includes a harem. Enter at your own risk.

In the year of the imperial selection, Rong Xingwan, the Prime Minister's legitimate daughter, enters the palace by imperial decree and is named a Fifth-Rank Beauty.

On her first night in the palace, Rong Xingwan says, “Now that I've entered the palace, naturally I intend to rise above everyone else.”

From then on, the inner palace gains a seemingly innocent and vivacious Beauty Rong. With her guileless eyes and charming smile, she leaves the emperor utterly bewitched.

But who could see what lies beneath that innocent facade: a careful plan, one step at a time?

And no one could have foreseen that the lofty emperor would fall deeply in love with her, willingly becoming her most secret accomplice. She schemes, and he has her back. She takes revenge, and he picks up the tab.

The inner palace is swept by one changing storm after another, and the Empress's position hangs in the balance. Rong Xingwan smiles faintly. “That phoenix crown and bridal robes will be mine!”
