I'm a Mage. Why Did the Monster's Health Bar End Up on Me?

Doctor: “Su Yun, your heart failure is in its late stages. You have at most six months.”

Su Yun: (calmly signing the liability waiver) “Six months? In Age of the Gods, that’s eternity.”

Upon entering the game, his abnormal vital signs trigger a hidden compensation protocol!

Ding! Congratulations, you’ve acquired the one-and-only hidden class: [Mana Leech]!

Ding! You’ve awakened an SSS-rank talent: [Origin Energy Harvest]!

[Origin Energy Harvest]: Kill monsters or players to permanently steal their maximum mana! No limit!

And so, Su Yun embarked on an absurd path as a “spellcasting tank.”

Other people use skills: they manage their mana carefully, afraid of running out.

Su Yun uses skills: “Sure, I only used one Arcane Blast, but I have ten billion mana…”

System notification: Damage overflow! -9999999 (true damage)!

The BOSS unleashes a full-screen ultimate, wiping out every player on the server.

Only Su Yun stands in place, looking at his mana shield, which hasn’t budged an inch.

Su Yun: (brushing off his clothes) “That’s it? You didn’t even take off a fraction of my mana bar.”

Players across the server: “??? Big bro, is your health bar attached to your mana bar or something?”
