In the twenty-sixth year of the Republic of China, the smoke of war has spread across the Jianmen Pass in the land of Sichuan and Sichuan. Liu Xiang's clarion call to go out to Sichuan to fight against Japan shattered the comfort of Tianfu. He was "Mr. Shen" from the grocery store in the town, and he was also a Sichuan native who took off his long gown. The salt in the shop helped the Sichuan troops crossing the border; the secret notes in the account books conveyed news from the front line. Under the oil lamp, what was copied was a blood letter "I will never return to Sichuan after losing my land"; in the children's nursery rhymes, they sang about the generosity of "a man comes out of Sichuan to protect his family and country". There is no legend of fighting and fighting, there is only persistence in the fireworks of Bashu.
The daily life in these troubled times is the responsibility of the little people and the backbone of Greater Sichuan.
