"The Record of Zhang Xianzhong's Fall in Luzhou" is an important unofficial historical material written by Yu Ruizi, who witnessed it in the late Ming Dynasty. It records the capture of Luzhou (today's Hefei, Anhui) by the leader of the peasant uprising army Zhang Xianzhong in 1642 and the resulting war.
