An extraordinary person longs for an ordinary life.
The protagonist, Li Nuoyan, is a gifted student who excels both academically and morally. After graduation, however, his mother keeps him locked at home for three years. At 26, his memories are fractured. Whenever he tries to recover what he has lost, his mind shuts down, leaving him with headaches and insomnia. His mother's “cure” is to stop thinking altogether and stay at home like a pet.
For him, the ordinary routine of going to work and coming home is nothing but a dream. At last, one day, he bravely steps outside and faces life on his own. He finds the job he always wanted, earns his boss's admiration, reunites with a childhood friend who delivers takeout, and finds sincere love. But his headaches take a toll on his work and life. His mother, who loves him most, refuses to let him seek medical treatment and only wants him to stay at home. His lover works hard to help him get better. They search for the cause of his illness and finally find it, but the truth leaves everyone filled with regret and pain.
If they could turn back time, they would choose to forget forever. To lock the truth away behind the door forever...
