My Ridiculous Daily Life in Gintama

With Edo's sword ban strictly enforced, purple-haired ronin Kazama Shiba scrapes by with a crimson katana at his side and a list of odd jobs in hand.

He works at the same izakaya as Shimura Shinpachi, serving food and running errands while disguising his katana as an extra-long sashimi knife. Then a freeloading, naturally curly-haired man suddenly barges in, runs up a tab, and even walks off with the shop's strawberry milk. It's Sakata Gintoki. To keep their jobs, Shiba and Shinpachi team up to chase the deadbeat away, only for Gintoki to rope Shiba into doing odd jobs for the Yorozuya instead. And so, a samurai who lives by odd jobs joins the Yorozuya, stumbling through one tear-inducingly hilarious survival farce after another in the cracks of the sword ban.
