Love breaks the Han River, the past goes with the wind
Lin Jing, who is over fifty years old, spends her days accompanied by her grandson's laughter. Occasionally, when the evening breeze blows, she will think of the old days on the bank of the Han River - she and the boy stood side by side on the embankment, watching the river flowing eastward, thinking that this glimpse would last a lifetime.
Later, the marriage suffered betrayal, and a divorce document severed the bond of seventeen years. She left her hometown and wandered around the streets of Xi'an to make a living. The steam from the dry cleaners overcame her fatigue, and the steering wheel of the online car-hailing service took away her stubbornness.
The years have rolled over her shoulders, and now that her son is married and has children, she is finally free from running around and guarding her grandchildren while they pass through the passing years. Recalling the water of the Han River and the person who once made her heart flutter, her heart is no longer disturbed. The river is still flowing eastward, and the past has long since faded away. She stood at the ferry of life and looked back, feeling that the wind passed by without leaving a trace, and the long road ahead was filled with warm sunshine.
