After I Turned In My Cheat, the Nation Started Supporting Me

Chen You gets his hands on a heavily modified version of a game called Earth Online and unexpectedly passes the entrance exam for a mysterious government agency. To avoid getting fired, he diligently “plays the game” every day. Watching the screen as a tentacled monster thrashes about, Chen You presses the top-up button with a heavy heart. “Boss, this ‘Star-Slaying Greatsword’ costs fifty billion. That's such a waste! I could wear it down if I just had better footwork…” Behind him, a general watches an eldritch ruler of the Old Ones about to devour Earth in the real world. Eyes bloodshot, he roars at the top of his lungs: “Comrade Chen You! Don't worry about the money! Top up! Put in five hundred billion! You have to kill it in one hit!” So Chen You spends the money through his tears and swings his sword. In the real world, the sky splits open and a god falls. Chen You scratches his head. “This game has great hit feedback. The monsters are just a little too squishy.” The leaders of nations everywhere: “…You call that squishy?!”
