In 2011, after misjudging the protagonist's death in the sixth installment of his serial manga Red and Black Boy, Rohan Kishibe's original home in Morioh was “discovered” by an obsessive fan, who sent him razor blades, bullets, and more. He was even forced to leave the country to lie low. Seeking inspiration and new experiences, Rohan Kishibe prowls a corner of Oregon called Red Beak Town like a detective, uncovering and recording the “strangeness beneath the ordinary.” This collection gathers several stories Rohan-sensei experienced between 2005 and 2012 that could not be included in the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan series. They are drawn from his audio diaries, typewritten documents, and manga story outlines, and have been approved by the “original author.”
