I am Qi Kun, the sixth slacker of Qijing Sect. I only meant to scrounge up some spirit stones in the mine and coast through life, but I accidentally stumbled into an ancient powerhouse's inheritance site.
My cultivation soared straight from the third layer of Foundation Establishment to the peak of the ninth. I now wield an ancient sword of enlightenment, and a rune containing the remnant soul of a Divine Transformation expert is hidden in my sea of consciousness.
But just as I obtained this fortuitous opportunity, the mysterious power of the inheritance site wiped out six Nascent Soul elders from Broken Blade Sect, Thousand Mechanism Sect, and Strange Sect.
The leaders of the three sects brought their forces to attack. In the end, Qijing Sect couldn't hold out and was reduced to ruins amid a sky full of flames.
So be it. My sect is gone, so I'll make this inheritance my blade. Starting from the Foundation Establishment realm, I'll make the three sects pay for their blood debt!
