The End of the Sequence: I Slay the Gods in a Mortal Body

When the light of the Sequences descends, some become gods and others become demons. I, Lin Mo, became my younger sister’s only hope. They say I’m addicted to devouring, but they don’t know that every time I do, it wears away at my humanity. They say I’m a master schemer, but they don’t know I only want to calculate a way for my sister to survive. From the moment I devoured my first Sequence, I set foot on a road with no return: Gangs, academies, cults, corporations, ancient clans, churches of the gods… They’re all stepping stones for me. When I stand amid the ruins of a temple, the God-Slaying Sword in my hand, the Sequences of the entire universe will tremble. Then I’ll turn back and smile at my newly awakened sister: “See? I keep my word. If a god stands in my way, I’ll slay it.”
