Mist shrouds the immortal realm, and all things mutate.
Yun Guisheng is afflicted with a strange illness. By chance, he glimpses a corner of the abyss during a blood sacrifice and is forced to become a “Deliverer to the Abyss.”
The High Priest offers the people as sacrifices and carries out the evil policy of “turning rice paddies into ponds,” all to sustain a terrifying being beneath the abyss.
Everyone fears the abyss and regards it as forbidden ground.
Only Yun Guisheng fears nothing. In this land of darkness, where even the gods dare not tread, he carves out a path through bloodshed.
If the light cannot save us, then I'll take command of the darkness and become the abyss's one and only ruler!
