Wicked Woman, Seduce Him! My Cool Brother-in-Law Is a Hidden Psycho

[Both are each other’s only one / sweet romance / stealing the younger brother’s wife / sweet on the outside, scheming within / deranged, lovesick obsessive / no angst]

One day, Zhu Yanruan awakens and discovers that she’s the female lead. It turns out she’s a character in a book, and the heroine of an angst-filled novel: framed and forced to give up her heart’s blood, then made to die as punishment for the male lead, so he can go through the whole “chase your wife to the crematorium” ordeal. She refuses to accept that. She’s the female lead, and whoever she chooses is the male lead.

Zhu Yanruan soon catches the attention of Mo Shangchen. Cold and aloof, he judges people by their actions, not their identity. He’s a lofty, untouchable beauty, always dressed in white.

He doesn’t even count as a supporting character, yet he’s the male lead’s backer and older brother.

She plans to pull this backer out from under him and drive a wedge between the brothers.

Zhu Yanruan won’t let Mo Shangchen be the male lead. To her, he’s just a tool.

The lofty beauty falls from his pedestal and gets his hands dirty. Now he begs her for kisses and a place in her life every day.

Later, Zhu Yanruan succeeds in turning the two brothers against each other, making them enemies.

Zhu Yanruan runs away too.

No one knows that Mo Shangchen has been in love with Zhu Yanruan for a long time. Her portraits fill his secret room, and he has people stationed around her, watching her every move.

When he learns she has set her sights on him, he slips her a love potion himself and offers himself to her.

Mo Shangchen cleans up after her and arranges everything for her, willingly making himself a stepping stone.

All he asks is that Zhu Yanruan choose him.

Later, she runs away.

Mo Shangchen finds her and locks her up. Those shameful desires of his finally come into the open.
