At eighteen, Xu Zhen was a fan of the Douluo series. He often bought the books to read at school and was utterly hooked. One day, when he opened a copy of The Legend of the Dragon King, green light began to shine from the book. A powerful force sucked Xu Zhen into the era of The Legend of the Dragon King. Claim it?” Curious, Xu Zhen chose yes. The System displayed a message saying the gift had been delivered, and Xu Zhen felt Soul Power flowing through him. “Since the Host is a beginner, the System is giving you a Soul Ring with full Soul Power, your second Soul Ring.” Xu Zhen found a family to stay with. As it happened, they were the family that had adopted Tang Wulin. That was how the two met. They enrolled together in Class Zero at Eastsea Academy, where they met Xu Xiaoyan and Wang Kaixuan. Later, the four joined the Tang Sect and, along with their Class Zero classmates, passed Shrek’s admissions exam and became work-study students.
