Chen Hao transmigrates into a world where Hong Kong movies have merged, set in the 1980s, and becomes a low-level hoodlum in Kowloon Walled City.

But thanks to his foreknowledge of the plot of Long Arm of the Law, he delivers crucial intelligence to the cold-blooded soldier Wang Jianjun, earning his first fortune with his life on the line. From then on, he navigates a blood-soaked underworld: selling information to the not-yet-famous Lai Ho, negotiating with Inspector Lee Rock, and making moves amid a web of intrigue. He and Wang Jianjun become brothers in arms, fighting on every front, while he works both crime bosses and corrupt police chiefs, building a vast network of connections. As wealth and power come rolling in, the tides of the era are already bearing down on him. See how Chen Hao uses his foreknowledge as his chessboard and carves out his own path to becoming a crime lord atop Hong Kong, where heroes and demons dance side by side.
