The male protagonist Lu Jin suffers from intermittent paranoid mental disorder, accompanied by extreme logical obsessive-compulsive disorder and sensory acuity. He behaves as a gentle "freak" on a daily basis, but under high pressure and stimulation, he will switch to a cold and crazy "breaker". He was forced into an immersive death game called the "Crime and Punishment Game". The game scenes covered 13 horrific maps including abandoned prisons, deserted villages and ancient houses, and serial murder scenes. Participants had to solve layers of murder puzzles, and those who were eliminated would "die mysteriously" in reality. Lu Jin's crazy thinking is the only key to solving the illogical murders in the game.
