Chongzhen's Empire of Immigrants

Chongzhen’s Settler Empire

After transmigrating into the body of ten-year-old Zhu Youjian in the forty-eighth year of the Wanli reign, he faces the Ming dynasty’s internal turmoil and external threats head-on: the Tartars beyond the passes are sharpening their blades, while factional strife consumes the court!

While others who transmigrate take the fight straight to the Later Jin, he uses “Heaven’s mandate” to turn the tide. He exploits astrological omens and prophecies to create a web of superstition, persuades the court to cultivate Taiwan as a fallback, and ensures the elite White Pole troops survive the chaos. On the eve of the Battle of Guangning, he exposes the enemy’s movements and stubbornly holds this strategic stronghold in Liaodong. When rebellion first breaks out in the southwest, he uses “divine revelations” to calm the people, split the rebels, and snuff out the fighting before it can spread.

After ascending the throne, Zhu Youjian rejects the dead end of meeting force with force. Rather than contest the Tartars head-on, he secures the border while sending loyal subjects, skilled craftsmen, and ordinary settlers across the seas toward Australia, a fertile land without a sovereign. Drawing on his geological expertise from his previous life, he locates mineral deposits, promotes agriculture, and builds workshops, turning Australia’s wilderness into granaries and its mines into fortresses. He opens trade routes with powerful European nations and hires Western mercenaries to guard Jizhou and Liaodong. When the Jiashen Campaign breaks out, he attacks on two fronts with firearms and cavalry, driving the Tartars beyond the Great Wall!

From the Eastern Palace, to Prince Xin, and finally to ruler of Australia; from a geologist’s hammer to an emperor’s sword: mineral wealth forges elite troops, fleets cross ten thousand miles of ocean, hired cavalry thunders across the grasslands, and Australia’s dragon banner shines in the sun! Zhu Youjian takes a different path to save his country, letting the Ming’s empire-on-which-the-sun-never-sets legend illuminate Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe!
