In the turbulent times of the Spring and Autumn Period, rituals collapsed and music collapsed. Confucius and his disciples left Lu Shiwei and took root in Diqiu for ten years. Using benevolence and etiquette as a lamp, they practiced their aspirations in the whirlpool of power and the haze of harsh government. In the face of Duke Linggong of Wei's obsession with power, uncle Shu's extortionate taxes in the name of "restoration of rites", and the prevalence of licentiousness in Sangjian Pu, the masters and disciples adhered to their original intention of "teaching without distinction" and held lectures in the back alleys, distinguishing true and false rites from the nobles, and imparting farming education to the refugees. From denouncing chaos in the mulberry trees, asking about suffering in the fields, to admonishing good governance in the imperial court, and protecting people in the market, they have experienced suppression by powerful ministers and extortion by local officials, but they have always taken "the benevolent love others" as the core and "restraining oneself and restoring propriety" as the key link. Ten years of ups and downs have finally allowed the seeds of benevolence and courtesy to take root in our country and illuminate the way forward for the people in troubled times, fully demonstrating the heroic responsibility of "knowing that it is impossible and doing it" and the spiritual foundation of Chinese civilization.

The writing is very powerful and explains very clearly the story of Confucius' departure from Qufu and Shiwei!
