Heaven's Mandate Calamity: From Investiture of the Gods to Journey to the West

The Investiture of the Gods was complete, and Heaven stood secure. Yet undercurrents swirled through the Three Realms, and a new calamity was already taking shape in the depths of fate.

He was Nezha, born from a lotus and sanctified in the flesh. From a mischievous boy in Chentang Pass, he had grown into Heaven’s God of War. A thousand years of battles and glory still could not fill the emptiness in his heart.

She was the Dragon King of the East Sea’s third daughter, the Little Dragon Girl. Once, she had shared his wild youth; later, she withdrew from the world to the Purple Bamboo Grove. Gentle as water, she was his only connection and comfort amid the cold laws of Heaven.

As the journey to the West began to take shape, destiny clashed fiercely with free will. To protect the one he loved and the people of the Three Realms, Nezha would take the Little Dragon Girl’s hand and embark on a defiant journey from the Investiture of the Gods straight onto the road to the West.
