Ji Hen, Don't Run Away This Time

[Redemption, Slow Burn, Mutual Healing, Mild Heartache, School Days in the Early Chapters and Workplace Romance Later]

Ji Hen is the one person nobody at Qinghe No. 1 High School dares to cross. He’s ruthless, reckless, and feared by everyone. Everyone, that is, except one person.

Lang Yanzhi is the top student in his year and the school’s undisputed ice-cold beauty. He doesn’t talk to anyone, and no one knows what he’s thinking.

At five in the morning, the day after Ji Hen drops out, Lang Yanzhi appears at his doorstep, holding the withdrawal form that was supposed to be voided. “Go back to class.”

Ji Hen thinks he’s lost his mind.

But that’s not the end of it. Lang Yanzhi follows him home, cooks, and does the housework...

“What do you want from me?” Ji Hen asks.

Later, the whole school is saying that Lang Yanzhi has gone crazy!

Only Lang Yanzhi knows what he’s doing.

Later still, Ji Hen disappears. When they meet again seven years later, Lang Yanzhi locks Ji Hen inside a “cage” he has carefully built himself.

To be revised later...
