Infinite Tonight

Psychological counselor Lin Xu is treating a patient with trauma when his consciousness is unexpectedly anchored to the night before a murder. Every night, he is forced to “possess” a different person involved in the case and experience the countdown to their death. He must gather clues in this endlessly looping “tonight,” while the person in charge of the case is Gu Yao, the icy police detective who is also his ex-girlfriend, the woman he cruelly pushed away seven years ago. As relentless pursuit in reality collides with the perspectives of countless people in his dreams, the two are forced to join forces amid a maze where reality and illusion intertwine. This time, they must solve not only a baffling murder, but also the feelings they buried deep within themselves and never truly let go of.
