A Four-Year-Old Prodigy Turns a Nuclear Submarine Into a Whole-Army Favorite

[Period Drama + Military Industry + Everyone’s Darling]

Deep in international waters, 1989.

An international arms syndicate salvages a decommissioned Cold War nuclear submarine, hoping to transport a missing tactical nuclear warhead.

When its aging control lines fail, they force a four-year-old girl they kidnapped, Lin Tang, so thin she looks like a kitten, into the radiation-filled reactor maintenance shaft to open a valve by hand.

Everyone thinks she’s just a disposable “human part.”

But no one knows that, to Lin Tang, this steel behemoth is “crying.” She can understand the heartbeat of machines and see the flow of energy.

“This part’s clogged. It just needs a little clearing.”

Her tiny hands swing a wrench thicker than her arm. Clang! A rough-and-ready modification!

And then the world’s navies go mad.

A “submarine monster” appears on radar, moving faster than a torpedo. It drifts through the depths, stops on a dime, and even reverses just to toy with destroyers!

When Commander Lei Zhen of the Huaguo Navy personally leads a team to surround this “enemy secret weapon,” bristling with hostility,

the hatch opens, and a grubby little girl pops her head out, holding up a wrench as she calls out plaintively:

“Uncle, this big fish’s brakes are broken. Could I borrow a bottle of milk?”

Lei Zhen looks at the face so like his late wife’s, and the binoculars fall from his hand with a clatter.
