The world is a vast sacrificial altar, and all living beings are lambs awaiting slaughter.
War, sacrifice, prophecy, humanity, demons: everything is swept into the vortex known as “fate.”
And so, seven shattered souls meet at the bottom of the vortex and become one another’s only support.
When protection becomes the prelude to destruction, and salvation becomes an abyss of despair,
in this game of chess they are destined to lose, they must not beg the gods for mercy. They must overturn this damned board.
“If this is fate, then we’ll be the ones to bite down and shatter it.”
This is no fairy tale about a saint saving all creation.
It is a kintsugi poem of breaking and mending.
