The Northern Myanmar Abyss: Lost on the Road from Prey to Predator

When technology becomes an amplifier for sin, survival must be bought with one's soul.

Top programmer Lin Mo is tricked into the hell of a scam compound in northern Myanmar. He thinks his technical skills will help him carve out a way to survive, but he soon discovers that the evil here goes far beyond telecom fraud. Human experimentation, biochemical disasters, and rival factions are fighting in the shadows along the border over a terrifying technology known as the Seed.

From prey forced into crime to a hunter who takes the initiative, every step upward comes at the cost of his humanity. Lin Mo draws up the Rules to manage his criminal crew, uses hacking skills to carry out precision scams, and maneuvers among rival factions to stay alive. He thinks he can keep his principles without joining in their crimes, until the person he loves becomes a sacrificial victim in an experiment, and until he is forced to inject an improved Seed. His body gradually crystallizes, and his consciousness begins synchronizing with the global infection network.
