This is the second part of my long series of novels "Song of Zhou". It tells the story of how King Wu of Zhou used his short life to lay the foundation for a prosperous age of eight hundred years for King Cheng and King Kang.
Since the establishment of the Zhou Dynasty, there has always been a struggle between centralization or feudalism, kingship or commonwealth, unified power or scattered vassals. In the early days, it had the opportunity to eliminate the states like Qin Shihuang did, and realize that "the whole world is not the king's land, and the shores of the land are not the king's ministers." Why did it not do so? Please read this book.
