Back to 1937: A Three-Year-Old Crosses the River of Souls on the Battlefield

[War of Resistance] [Supernatural] [Father-daughter bond] [Tearjerker] [History] [Adorable child]

Chu Tianhe, commander of a Sichuan Army regiment, thinks there's something strange about his daughter.

She's only three, yet she never cries or fusses. She talks to empty air, and can even foresee the Japanese planes and artillery!

“Dad, Uncle Zhuzi has no shoes. He won't make it back.” And Zhuzi dies in battle.

“Dad, this city is a grave.” And every defender of Tengcheng dies for their country.

Then, one day, Chu Tianhe is gravely wounded and on the brink of death. He sees the familiar faces of his fallen comrades emerging from the lantern behind his daughter...

She isn't some supernatural oddity. She's a bodhisattva here to bring his brothers home!

“Old Chu, listen to your daughter. Let's stand and fight to the end, and let our souls return to China!”
