My Study Abroad Life Has Been Invaded by Eri

On a rainy night in Tokyo, I found a red-haired girl, soaked through from head to toe.

She wore a shrine maiden outfit and held a sword. She was so beautiful she looked like a top-tier cosplayer straight out of an anime.

Though she blew up my appliances and didn’t say a word, she had a fever and amnesia, so I decided to take in this “Uesugi Eri” for the time being.

I made her instant noodles, and she carefully drew the packaging, writing “Yi, delicious” beside it.

I took her to the supermarket, where she bowed and said thank you to a refrigerator that opened by itself.

My web novel was suddenly brimming with inspiration, because readers all said, “That innocent girl you write about is so cute, she feels real.”

I thought it was just a strange little interlude before I graduated and returned home.

Until one day, I found the sketchbook she had hidden away, filled with drawings of my profile.

Until she made a hoarse sound for the first time, clutching the hem of my shirt, her eyes full of the words “Don’t go.”

Only then did I belatedly realize:

I might have found a girl who had no way to go home.

And I wanted to become her first point of reference in this new world.
