His Cliched Romance

He is a lonely, taciturn translator who lives at the mercy of others. He saves up 300,000 yuan just to escape a suffocating past and set off on a directionless trip abroad. He is a young master of the Mo family who pretends to be a carefree playboy but is shrewd beneath the surface. He commands a secret business empire and wears his hair long, hiding his earnest side in an antiquarian bookshop. He regrets having held back, but fortunately, he has another chance… A furtively snapped photo and an image sent to the wrong person bring two lonely souls together on the romantic streets of Country C. The play of light and shadow in his photographs captures the tenderness hidden in his eyes; the designs at his fingertips express the feelings he has never put into words. From strangers to familiar faces, from tentative advances to falling beyond rescue: as the gulf between their backgrounds and the pressures of their families close in, he comes to understand that some people, once met, are meant to be part of your life forever. A crescent-moon earring with a notch, a love that crosses mountains and seas: two people starved for affection will eventually embrace, turning their imperfections into a perfect whole.
