In the fifteenth year since the smoke cleared, Chen Yang has become a standard template in life: a husband who wakes up on time at 6:03 in the morning, a father who remembers his son's favorite drink of 65-degree milk, and a silent and reliable stock taker in the warehouse. He managed firewood, rice, oil and salt with military precision, locking the past into a rusty iron box.
When the gentlest daily life meets the hardest past. See how a man fights a silent war with his determination to protect his family.

It is a very good novel that can be thrilling and thrilling in a plain way, especially with many and good metaphors.
The whole book can be divided into three parts. The first part is about the ordinary days that Chen Yang spent many years after he retired from the army, from which he felt the undercurrent surging under the calm water. The second part is the escape. It is difficult to distinguish between friends and foes, thrilling, escaping from death, and eye-opening. The part about Li Qinghe's resurrection has a vague sense of science fiction. Li Qinghe soaked in the liquid, for some reason reminds me of the half-length girl who poured wine for the diners in the mine that Lao Zhen said. The third part is the reappearance of the crisis half a year later. Friends appear in the fog, and the green rose symbolizes inheritance and completion.
The tone, or mood, of the whole book has its ups and downs. If the first part is depressing, the second part is shocking, and the third part is warm.
I wonder if there are actually three authors? The timeline of the entire book is a bit confusing. In the first part, Chen Yang has been out of the army for 15 years. He is 40 years old and his child is 8 years old and in second grade. The second part, from the wife's mouth, became 12 years. In the third part, Chen Yang has been discharged from the army for 3 years (Guoan, a woman surnamed Shen, "died" three years ago, and Chen Yang was discharged from the army at that time, and his son is now in kindergarten.
I don't know if it's the same reason that has left many holes unfilled.
But the flaws do not hide the good points. Overall, it is a very good book, with a touch of ancient dragon style and the stream-of-consciousness style that was popular in the literary world at the end of the last century.
The happy ending at the end is great. Just like life, after constant losses, you finally gain the stability and peace of mind that ordinary people live. This is actually extremely precious.
The author's writing skills are quite good. Skill can be seen in the seemingly plain narrative. For example, it is the same boring day that is repeated, with contrast before and after. The dullness of the first part contains depression and anxiety; the dullness and repetitive days of the third part bring peace of mind and relief.
All in all, recommended! I hope the author writes more good books!
The description of psychological activities is very realistic and gives you an immersive feeling. It's pretty good. Keep up the good work💪
The pace is a little slow! The more compact the better! But I want to watch it!
Not bad, very detailed writing
Strong logical thinking and meticulous mental activities
Not bad, but the pace is too slow
The book is very good, but why is it rated so low?
