On a rainy winter night in 2002, Qi Xiaolan, his girlfriend of three years, turned around and climbed into the arms of an excavator driver.
Bartender Lin Qi had given her his whole heart for three years, only to be repaid with the most humiliating betrayal. A car crash on that rainy night sent his soul to another world.
When he opened his eyes, he had crashed right into the bath of Aria, a princess of the undead, and was forced to marry her!
He had expected a gentle, loving wife. Instead, she was a mischievous little devil who loved stirring up trouble and was fiercely protective of her own.
When she learned how he had been humiliated in his previous life, the princess slammed the table in a fury. "Honey, I'll summon your brothers so they can go back to Earth and settle the score!"
Forbidden magic was unleashed, and Liu Meng, the brother who had vowed to avenge him, was dragged straight into the other world!
Lin Qi inherited the throne of the undead. Using a modern mindset to command an army of immortals, he became a walking natural disaster and swept across the continent.
His bartending won over humans, mahjong brought the elves into his fold, and a death curse sealed the Earth-bound enemies' fate in despair ahead of time.
To the outside world, he was the fearsome overlord of the undead. At home, he was a henpecked husband who doted on his wife.
When the barriers between worlds shattered and the undead cavalry appeared, Lin Qi returned to his homeland.
"I won't kill you. I'll make you regret everything for eternity, until you wish you were dead."
Behind him, the princess was already rubbing her hands together. "Honey, should we try a new curse or visit a new plane?"
A battle for supremacy across two worlds, hilarious revenge, and this time, he would rule them both!
