Introduction
The death row prisoner Chen Mo lost consciousness the moment the venom was injected into his veins. When he woke up, a bronze shackle with carved scale patterns was wrapped around his neck. In front of you are twelve gates of gods that stand tall on the sky and on the earth, and the ancient oracle echoes in your ears: Passing the Twelve Olympus Trials can lead to new life, and failure will lead to eternal imprisonment in the Styx.
Apollo's labyrinth of light and shadow hides murderous intent, Athena's Court of Truth is half-truth and half-false, and Ares's blood sacrifice arena leads to a dead end at every step. When Chen Mo used candlelight to create a "Shadowless Man" to crack the first level, and passed the second level with absolute silence, the inscription on the inside of the bronze shackles appeared under the blood stains - it was actually the blasphemous oath he carved at the Temple of Delphi seven years ago.
Deeper fears emerge: after every three trials, the "wrath of the gods" falls from the night sky and annihilates half of the people; companions begin to betray each other for the token of forgiveness; and in Chen Mo's broken memory, he seems to have participated in the design of this eternal trial in another capacity.
When the Gate of Zeus suddenly opened in the thunder, Chen Mo finally understood that what he wanted to challenge was not the rules of the game, but the god himself who made the rules. The ever-dwindling countdown on the shackles points to an ultimate rebellion that even Olympus cannot withstand.
