Everyone at A University knew Jiang Yuning had pursued Xie Qi for nearly eight years. She had finally managed to get into the same university as him.
But she annoyed him so much that she fled overseas to study and start a business, not daring to return home even once in three years.
Jiang Yuning was convinced Xie Qi couldn’t stand her, so after he returned to the country, she was the first to suggest ending their engagement. “I agree to break off our engagement.”
A hint of surprise flashed in Xie Qi’s eyes as he teased her nonchalantly.

At a banquet one day, Xie Qi spotted a familiar woman entering with another man on her arm, her face glowing with a blissful, sweet smile.
The usually proud and haughty Xie Qi lost control in front of everyone.

Xie Qi’s eyes were unfathomably dark. He locked the car doors and laughed, sounding strangely deranged. “I must be crazy to let you two be together.”
