Siheyuan: I Have X-Ray Vision, Where Are the Spies Hiding?

Lin Xiao transmigrates to 1958 and becomes a film projectionist at the Hongxing Steel Mill.

From the start, he returns as the orphan of a fallen martyr, only to discover that while he was away, the Jia family had picked his lock and taken over his home. They even want to turn his east-side room into Banggeng's wedding room?

Yi Zhonghai tries to guilt-trip him too: "There's no such thing as a bad neighbor. It's a waste for one person to have two rooms!"

Lin Xiao slaps back and activates the [Crime-Scanning Light and Shadow System]!

All he has to do is look at someone to see their crime score and recent criminal activity!

Scanning Yi Zhonghai: [Crime score: 85. Hypocrite. Embezzled a martyr's compensation!]

Scanning Jia Zhangshi: [Crime score: 60. Old hag. Hiding a gold ring!]

Scanning the crowd at the movie screening: [Warning! Enemy agent "Scorpion" detected, carrying poison and a radio!]

From that day on, Lin Xiao catches spies while screening films.

With a turn of the projector, spies have nowhere to hide. With a scan of his eyes, every treasure goes into his storage space!

While the courtyard's beasts are still scheming over a few pounds of cornmeal, Lin Xiao is already eating specially supplied braised pork, earning a First-Class Merit, and becoming the "Light and Shadow Hunter" feared by enemy agents!

Yi Zhonghai: I regret it! I shouldn't have messed with Lin Xiao, that menace!

Qin Huairu: Lin Xiao, I was blind back then...
