In this Hogwarts story, I’ve added a great deal of my own worldbuilding, blending Hogwarts with some elements of Type-Moon and Fullmetal Alchemist. (A heads-up in advance: if this bothers you, please steer clear.)
Alchemy is the bones, magic the wings, bloodline the least, and talent the foundation!
1. After transmigrating to the medieval wizarding world ravaged by the Black Death, Lynn becomes a half-blood orphan in Hogwarts’ Hufflepuff House. It is a crucial moment in Nicolas Flamel’s creation of the Philosopher’s Stone, when the boundary between alchemy and magic is still blurred. The arrogance of pure-blood wizards looks even more monstrous amid the plague.
With his Eye of Truth awakened and modern chemistry and Fullmetal Alchemist knowledge at his fingertips, Lynn understands the iron law of equivalent exchange, as well as the bloody secret behind the Philosopher’s Stone.
He won’t be the Ministry of Magic’s attack dog, nor will he cozy up to a pure-blood family. With eyes that see through the essence of matter and alchemy capable of reshaping the world, he will build an alchemical empire spanning both the wizarding and Muggle worlds, and make the name Horne synonymous with the greatest alchemical family in the magical world!
The female channel book is full of details 🤦 and has too many adjectives.
