I Became a Foolish Emperor, but Thankfully the Heroine Is a Lovesick Fool

Zhao Ji wakes up to find that he has transmigrated. The good news: He's become the emperor of the Da Li Dynasty. The bad news: Rebels have breached the palace, and he's about to become the last ruler of a fallen dynasty. “Damn it, I transmigrated for nothing.” Just as Zhao Ji despairs, the rebel leader, Qin Zhaoyu, suddenly says: “I came to the capital only to purge the court of traitors. Now that all the corrupt ministers have been executed, as long as Your Majesty is willing to issue an edict admitting your guilt and grant a general amnesty to reassure the people, I will withdraw my troops at once.” Zhao Ji freezes. They've already stormed the palace, and all they want is for me to issue an edict admitting my guilt? As he stands there in a daze, a System appears too. [Host detected as a foolish ruler. The rise to become the greatest emperor of all time begins!] [Qin Zhaoyu is the Great General of the Northern Frontier and commands 300,000 troops. Though she has no rebellious intentions, she shows no respect for the emperor, hindering the Host's path to becoming the greatest emperor of all time.] [Appoint Qin Zhaoyu as Empress of the Western Palace and bring her into your harem. Reward: Imperial Nine-Five Heavenly Art!] [Imperial Nine-Five Heavenly Art: Built upon the dragon aura of imperial authority, its realm grows stronger as one's fortune accumulates!] Zhao Ji's face goes dark. “System, if you want me dead, just say so.” Years later. Snow blankets the capital. Zhao Ji slowly enters the Western Palace and gazes at the peerless beauty reclining on the phoenix bed. “Your Majesty, the Empress's pear-blossom spear is said to be the finest in the world. I've been studying spear techniques lately and believe I've made some progress. I've come to ask you for a few pointers!”
