Li Ming, a graduate student in history, unexpectedly transmigrates to the Xianyang Palace of Qin in 228 BC. Bearing the mysterious Universal Unification System, he becomes a retainer serving under Qin Shi Huang, Ying Zheng. His mission is no longer simply to study history, but to take part in it and change its course. He must not only help Qin accomplish the great task of unifying the six kingdoms, but also lead its armies and civilization beyond East Asia toward true universal unification.
