The story’s central premise: The Etherial Village. During the fall of the Old Capital, a wife gained the ability to awaken the consciousness of Etherials through a chance encounter. After awakening the consciousness of her husband, who had already become an Etherial, she fell into a deep sleep. To protect his wife, her husband escaped from Hollow Zero in his Etherial body and hid in a remote Hollow. There, in an abandoned town, he began his research and created several “Etherial people” like himself. He then founded an independent faction: the “Etherial Village.”

One of the faction’s goals is to uncover the truth behind the fall of the Old Capital.

They also seek to learn why the wife fell asleep, and what this ability is all about.

They seek a way for Etherial people to survive.

As the village’s No. 6 experimental subject, the protagonist is a little Thunder Spider. He takes part in experiments to create the second generation of Etherial people. He successfully gains a human body and becomes the hope of the whole village, then is sent out to find a way forward for the village: funding, supplies, and information.
