Human beings live in hardships tormented by monsters controlled by powerful demons. This era is known as the Dark Ages, the time since the "Vanders" (a portmanteau of "vampire" and "demon") emerged and began attacking humans. In order to fight against these monsters, a profession called "demon warrior" or "Fander hunter" who specializes in dealing with demons came into being.
