The Sequel to Guo Xiang

The fireworks that blazed when she was sixteen shone so brightly that they lit up Guo Xiang's whole life. At Fengling Ferry, she heard tales of the Condor Hero. On the walls of Xiangyang, she bid farewell to her parents and her homeland. Beneath Zhongnan Mountain, she quietly watched the backs of that divine couple, then turned and walked alone into her own world of martial arts.

From then on, beneath the bright moon and across the ends of the earth, a little donkey carried the young girl far and wide. She found a kindred spirit in music and swordplay in He Zudao, an old friend in Zhang Sanfeng of Wudang, and greetings from the Yang family through a mysterious woman in yellow. But every flutter of her heart became the mighty sword aura with which she founded Emei. From an orphan of Xiangyang to a grandmaster of her generation, she taught women everywhere: a true hero is not defined by whom she marries, but by who she becomes.

In the end, the sea of clouds above Emei remembered her white hair, and the Buddha's light on the Golden Summit illuminated her smile. She came to this world, loved, and protected it. The bright moon endures, and the ends of the earth never grow old.
