I Become the Strongest Esper by Devouring

The skyscrapers have been reduced to rubble, and the ruins are piled high. In this age when superpowered people run rampant, steel and concrete have become synonymous with fragility.

Chen Xu stood at the very top of the ruins. Having devoured who knew how many people, he had grown unimaginably powerful. He casually kicked the person before him into the air. Blood sprayed everywhere, tracing an elegant arc.

The other man struggled to push himself up. The blood on his face could not conceal his defiance. He clenched his teeth in hatred. “Chen Xu! Don’t think that being called the Guardian of the Superpowered means you can do whatever you want! If... if the God of Superpowers showed up, you’d still be begging for mercy beneath his shoe!”

Then he burst into laughter. “You’re nothing but a mere mortal who’s never faced that man!”

Looking at the other man’s expression, Chen Xu gave him a mysteriously sweet smile. “Then guess why I’ve never faced him.”

As he spoke, Chen Xu slowly lowered the mask symbolizing a god over his face. The other man’s laughter abruptly stopped.

“Take another look.”
