[A Touhou Project fanfic. Follows the original story early on. No female lead, ensemble cast, not a power fantasy.]
(The early plot moves too fast, so it’s being revised and expanded!)
After college student Bai Heng dies unexpectedly, he’s reborn as a celestial? And then he descends to a place called Gensokyo!
Here, magic, youkai, and all sorts of supernatural phenomena are real!
That may be so, but now that he’s finally become a celestial, Bai Heng just wants to enjoy a peaceful life.
However...
Reimu Hakurei: “With Bai Heng around, I can just mooch off him and coast through life!”
Marisa Kirisame: “Bai Heng, it’s an incident! This is an incident!”
Bai Heng is on the verge of tears.
Well, it seems this is just his fate...
(This book contains many original elements, including original characters and worldbuilding. The original characters generally stay true to their canon portrayals, though some may be out of character.)
(The first four volumes follow the protagonist through the original story while planting some foreshadowing. The original story concludes completely after Hidden Star in Four Seasons.)
(Any feedback on things that could be improved is welcome. Thank you!)
(PS: All characters in this book are adults!)
This book is really good, but the biggest reason why no one has read it is that there are no interesting highlights outside of the original plot. For me, it may be just memories. It feels the same whether there is a male protagonist or not. For example, the part about the emperor was almost over as soon as the male protagonist left. As a result, the male protagonist went to heaven to deal with the follow-up, and Marisa had to fight with the emperor again. It was really hard for me to watch. Also, the male protagonist's combat power is a mystery (it's a classic in Gensokyo), but it's hard to overstate the hero's ability, and the author doesn't write much about daily life, so I feel like I'm sorting through the plot.
I love your book.
So far, I feel like it's pretty well written 👍
I have no motivation to read anymore 🤦 Beautiful, very beautiful. Maybe it's because I don't watch enough Eastern movies, but I think it's very beautiful.
It's pretty, eh
