Erro, the Whisper Collector, sells last words, but is cursed with eternal life and suffers from the void of his fading memories. A never-ending "rain of forgetfulness" washes over the world, taking away everyone's memories. When Erro found himself disappearing from the mirror and was hired to go to the center of a rainstorm to collect whispers of a special death, he was forced to face the truth: the rain was the immune response of a dying planet, and the curse in his body became the only container to seal the planet's painful memories and end the eternal rain.
