Anime Crossover: The Lost Masterpiece Drops into Class C and Turns the Whole School Upside Down

Classroom of the Elite: “It’s all right. The lost masterpiece.”

“The lost masterpiece, Hikigaya.”

Ayanokoji gazed at me with a shadowy look in his eyes.

“I understand.”

I felt Ayanokoji wouldn’t say anything unless I asked, so I began recalling what had happened before I came here.

The place where Ayanokoji and I grew up was a facility called the “White Room,” where geniuses were artificially cultivated.

I couldn’t remember when I had first been brought there.

Even when I tried to look back, all I could picture was a room of pure white.

There, I underwent training designed to make me a genius.

I never questioned it.

Those lessons were all I had ever been taught. I knew nothing else.

Like a machine, I carried out every order without a second thought.

There were many others like me.

But almost none of them could do everything with the same calm, matter-of-fact ease I did.

Ayanokoji and I were alike in that regard. Even if we lost at first, we always managed to win in the end. That was why we survived our generation, known as the “Demon Fourth Generation.”

When only the two of us remained among the fourth-generation students, Ayanokoji and I took part in a real combat exercise.
