(This is a time-travel novel, although it doesn't have a heaven-defying golden finger. It's a story about making a living in the Tang Dynasty with just a sandbox.) A petty chemical clerk who died due to a project explosion time-traveled and became the meanest charcoal-burning slave in the Tang Dynasty. He carried thirty stick wounds and guarded a charcoal kiln filled with poisonous smoke. He didn't want to change his life against the will of heaven, but to make chaff dumplings for tomorrow.
He doesn't understand poetry or tactics, and his only reliance is the "craft simulation sand table" that travels with him - it can calculate the impact of technology on the people in five years, but it can't predict when the human heart is sinister and the guillotine will fall.
Specializing in charcoal, human life is like grass. He only found a way to survive for the 2,300 charcoal workers: using yellow mud water to remove charcoal poison, using clay pipes to build earth heaters, and using honeycomb briquettes to combat the cold winter. With every improvement, the merit of the sand table increases a little, and the exposure risk increases by 10%.
He built an underground technical point under Tan Ba's nose, walking on thin ice and calculating every step. What is cured is charcoal, what is saved is life, the purpose is to let the technology spread among the people like a hidden fire, and the success does not need to be exposed to the light, and the history does not need to leave a name.

I think it's quite interesting except for the one about "The Way of the Beast" which felt a bit sudden. It describes the experience of a lower-class person working and struggling in a carbon factory. When I read the chapter names at the end, I saw that the animal path was originally not recommended by the author. I thought it was the main text, so I read it together [awkward laugh] [awkward laugh] I hope the author writes slower and more, so that the intrigues are quite interesting, don't write it all at once and you won't be able to finish it, haha
