Be Good, Give Me a Kiss and I’ll Let You Go

[Sweet romance + age gap + playful antics + unrequited crush + a touch of possessive love]

When Jiang Xiaxia was in her first year of high school, she went to live with Lu Xuhe.

Lu Xuhe said that calling him “big brother” sounded too intimate, while calling him “uncle” made him sound too old.

So she called him “little uncle.”

Lu Xuhe was strict. If she did the slightest thing he didn’t approve of, he’d pull her over and spank her!

In front of her little uncle, she was so obedient she hardly seemed like herself, and she didn’t dare talk back.

Jiang Xiaxia kept a secret in her heart: she liked Bai Yichen, but she didn’t dare let Lu Xuhe find out.

Jiang Xiaxia figured that if her little uncle was always keeping such a close eye on her, it must be because he had too much free time and needed a girlfriend.

So she decided to find him one.

When Lu Xuhe found out, he pulled her over and made her lie across his lap, then raised his hand and delivered a sharp smack!

“Ow!” Jiang Xiaxia was in so much pain that tears nearly sprang from her eyes.

Lu Xuhe’s gaze was unreadable, his smile not reaching his eyes. “Or how about you become my wife?”

Jiang Xiaxia was stunned!

(The male lead has been plotting this for a long time, carefully laying his plans step by step as he waits for the right opportunity.)

(It took Jiang Xiaxia many years to realize that she hadn’t actually liked the person she had a crush on when she was young all that much.)
