In 2004, Chinese teenager Zhao Shanhe, rejected by two youth academies in succession, arrives in Florence with one last chance, bought with his parents' entire savings. In the bleak moments on the bench, the template of “War God Lu Bu” unexpectedly loads.
From then on, a halberd named Zhao Shanhe takes the field on the pitches of the Apennines. He goes from bitter enemies to brothers-in-arms with the prodigy Mario Balotelli, who is always pondering life's big questions; from brawling on the sidelines to joining forces to dominate Serie A. His long-range shots blast open the door to legend, his fists “teach” his teammates a lesson, and his loyalty writes an incomparable chapter of his own in Florence.
This is the story of a troubled youth's rise to become his team's leader, and a passionate fusion of Eastern martial spirit and Western soccer. As the brilliance of Lu Bu's legendary halberd shot cuts across the sky, a tale of growth, brotherhood, and immortality begins beneath the purple lilies' banner.
