"The Way of the Remnants" tells the story of the surviving disciple Chen Zhuo struggling to survive in the cruel world of immortality after the destruction of the Jusha Sect. He was accidentally taught the "Remnant Dust Dao" technique, which allowed him to control the tiny dust particles in the world. He was also helped by a mysterious ring and the ancient "dust-sealed" sword. From being chased by the Shadow Pavilion in Black Rock City, to uncovering the Realm Gate conspiracy in Wan Gu Ridge, to the suspicion of the inner ghost of Leng Yue Sect, Chen Zhuo was startled step by step and broke through in desperate situations.
The film owner wants to collect all the fragments of the Realm Gate and lead the creatures from the Ruins Realm to invade the human world, so Chen Zhuo takes on the responsibility of protecting them. Using the dust as a blade and faith as a shield, he understood the true meaning of "rising from the dust and sealing the sky with a sword" in the bloody fight. He transformed from an avenger to a lone brave traveler who protects the common people. In the gap between darkness and light, he found his own path of remaining dust.
