Chu Ma Xian: Old Things in the Hall

In the winter of 2003, Baishan Town on the banks of the Songhua River in Northeast China. After graduating from the provincial normal university, 23-year-old Lin Xiaomei returned to her hometown to take care of her mother because of her illness. There are strange footsteps and whispers every midnight in the old house of the family. Neighbors suggested that it was related to the "enshrinement" of the ancestors of the Lin family.
