From Flower-Fruit Mountain to Demon Slayer

[Demon Slayer/AU timeline/mild OOC/borrows some plot elements from Black Myth/our male lead is not the Great Sage/featuring original characters/one heroine: Shinobu Kocho]

Eight hundred years ago, he was a wild monkey from Mount Huaguo who worshipped the Great Sage Equal to Heaven and called himself the Second Great Sage Equal to Heaven. Hoping to follow in his idol’s footsteps, he secluded himself for a hundred years, donned homemade chain mail, and traveled east to Japan with an enchanted iron staff to train. Soon after arriving, he encountered the Demon King Muzan. He spent the last of his spirit core saving a human girl, then vanished, body and soul.

Eight hundred years later, the spirit pearl reassembled, and Yuanfei Qiansheng awoke in an unfamiliar age. He discovered that the girl he had once saved was an ancestor of Shinobu Kocho, and that fragments of his shattered spirit core had become a family heirloom carried by the Kocho Sisters. To reclaim his power, this down-and-out monkey, who wore a mysterious golden headband and could be subdued by the spell “Freeze,” joined Kanae Kocho, determined to avenge her parents, and the sharp-tongued yet resilient Shinobu. Together, they set off on a fantastical journey in search of the spirit pearl fragments.
